What sets the programs apart is that they are designed and delivered by clinical therapists with specific training applicable to group work in grief and loss. These specialists provide their time at lower than full rate in recognition of the Centre's work and its not-for-profit status; however, like most of us, they need to receive appropriate compensation for their skills and the hours they put into the preparation, delivery and post-review of programs and supervision of volunteers. In addition, there is a professional relationship between a therapist and client, binding the therapist to adhere to the ethics and guidelines of their professional organizations.

Your donations will help us in many ways:

• Support - we provide clinical grief-related group counseling services for all stages of life - children to senior. New programs are constantly being created based on community needs.
• Research - Clinical Research to commence regarding our core programme - Lambs for Children
• Public Education - workshops and panel discussions are planned, written materials are being prepared, and professional training reviewed.
• Program Delivery - there are numerous costs associated with delivering these programs, including program materials, overheads such as heating and hydro, as well as general administrative items.
