Elizabeth Robb designed the sweater pattern and kits especially for the Centre. As a retired school-teacher, a committed nature lover and expert & knowledgeable gardener, she has played a valuable role in helping establish a working Board for the Centre. She never stops helping others, whether it’s at the Centre, baby-sitting grandson Sam, knitting, baking or sewing for someone, or one of her many other voluntary activities; it was her father, Doctor Howard Walmsley who, as Edith Fox’s family doctor, actually brought Kathleen into the world, and although both Kathleen and Elizabeth grew up in the County, it was the formation of the Centre that really closed the circle and brought them together, now as close friends and co-workers!
